2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data when Visiting the Website, as well as the Type and Purpose of Its Use
When you access our website www.langenfoundation.de, information is automatically sent to our web server by the browser used on your device. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until automatic deletion:

4. Social Media Plugins
On our website, we use social plugins from the social networks Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram based on Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR to make our website more widely known. The underlying commercial purpose is considered a legitimate interest under the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation lies with the respective provider. These plugins are embedded using the so-called two-click method to best protect visitors to our website.

Facebook
Social media plugins from Facebook are used on our website to make its use more personal. This includes the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button, which is an offering by Facebook. When you visit a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers.   • Request the immediate correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR
  • Request the deletion of your personal data stored by us pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, unless processing is necessary for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for asserting, exercising, or defending legal claims
  • Request the restriction of processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful but you oppose its deletion, and we no longer need the data, but you require it for asserting, exercising, or defending legal claims, or you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR
  • Receive your personal data provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or request its transfer to another controller pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR

During your visit to our website, we use the widespread SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in combination with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can recognize whether an individual page of our website is transmitted encrypted by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

Furthermore, we use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved according to technological developments.
